Using some paint and lighting, I've managed to spruce up the place a little bit. I put up a string of Christmas lights that my dad got me above the cabinets in the kitchen to enhance the color that is there. I also went with a blue and yellow color scheme for my bedroom. My friend Lacey says it looks like pee yellow but I disagree. With the bathroom, I also went blue and yellow scheme but in with reversed emphasis. I don't know yet if I like the bathroom but I'll give it some time to see if it grows on me.

Virginia July 2009

Melanie told us that she and her family would be going to Virginia for the 4th of July and before you know it, the whole family is on board. I still don't know how we fit 20 people in the house.
